Grabbed this after a walk along the river and it hit the spot. Went with 50% sugar and it was still plenty sweet, so first-timers should probably go lower than they think. Service was quick even with a small queue, and the seating right by the river is nice in the evening once it cools down a bit.

Been coming here most weekday mornings for the last couple of months: consistent espresso, wifi that doesn't drop, and enough outlets that I can actually get an hour of work done before meetings start. Gets loud after 10am once the breakfast crowd shows up, so if you need quiet, aim for opening.

Stopped here for lunch while hunting for a tailor near the Russian Market (my usual guy closed down). Food was solid while I asked around, and someone at the next table actually gave me a good recommendation. Decent spot to sit and people-watch in that neighbourhood either way.

First proper downpour of the season hit BKK1 this afternoon. Half the street was ankle-deep within twenty minutes, so I ducked in here to wait it out with a coffee. Good call: comfortable seating, quick wifi, and the humidity finally broke once the rain passed, first time in weeks it's felt comfortable past 6pm.
