Been coming here on and off for a year. Not flashy but consistently good, and the staff know my usual order by now. Prices have crept up slightly this year but still fair for what you get.

A lot of rooftop bars in the city charge a premium just for the view, but the prices here are still reasonable and the food menu is actually decent, not just an afterthought to the cocktails.

People overlook this one for the bigger chains but the food quality is honestly better. Staff remember regulars, which is a nice touch. Only downside is limited outdoor seating during peak hours.

You can taste the difference with the handmade pasta, properly al dente and the sauces aren't drowning it. A bit on the smaller side for portions, so don't be shy about ordering a starter too.

Not the trendiest place around but that's exactly why I like it: rarely crowded, comfortable chairs, and nobody rushes you out after one drink. Coffee is straightforward and reliable, nothing fancy.

Went for a birthday dinner and the wagyu was cooked exactly as requested, which isn't always a given. Wine list is decent without being overpriced. Ask for a window table if you want a view over the street.

Consistent every time I've been, which counts for a lot. The seating upstairs is quieter if you need to take a call. Coffee's decent too, though I mostly come here for the food rather than the espresso.

Everything tastes fresh, and you can tell they actually source locally rather than just using it as a marketing line. The salads especially stood out. A little pricier than average but worth it for the quality.

The margherita here is simple but done right, thin crust with a good char. Portions are generous for the price point and the staff are friendly even when it's busy. Delivery took a bit long last time though.

Lived in Athens for two years and this is the closest I've found in Phnom Penh. The souvlaki and tzatziki are properly done, and the portions are big enough to share as a starter between two people.

Food is fine, nothing life-changing, but you're really paying for the seating by the river at sunset. Good spot for drinks with friends rather than a big meal. Gets a nice breeze in the evening.

Small menu but everything on it is done well. We went for the steak frites and a bottle of wine, and the bill came out reasonable for the quality. Ask for a table on the terrace if the weather's decent.

Their lunch set is one of the better deals in the area: soup, main and a drink for a reasonable price. Service is quick, which matters when you only have an hour. Wouldn't call it destination dining but it's dependable.

Ordered the butter chicken and garlic naan and both were spot on: proper depth of flavour, not just sweet and creamy like a lot of places do it. Portions are generous too, we had leftovers for the next day.

Took my parents here for their anniversary and everyone left happy. The set menu is generous for the price and the staff explained each course without being over the top about it. Would come back for another special occasion.

Went on a Sunday without a reservation and had to wait 25 minutes, so learn from my mistake and book. The eggs benedict was excellent and the coffee is properly strong. A bit loud when full but the vibe is good.

Came for a coffee and left with three slices of banana bread to go. Small, cozy space with a nice courtyard out back if you want to sit outside. A bit pricier than most cafes nearby but the quality is there.

Not the most exciting coffee in the city but it does exactly what you need: fast service, plenty of seating, aircon that actually works, and wifi that holds up for a video call. Come here more for convenience than for a special coffee experience.

This has been my go-to for over a year now. Consistent espresso, oat milk actually steamed properly, and the corner tables by the window are great for a couple of hours of work. Gets busy around 9am on weekdays, so go a bit earlier if you want a seat.

Grabbed this after a walk along the river and it hit the spot. Went with 50% sugar and it was still plenty sweet, so first-timers should probably go lower than they think. Service was quick even with a small queue, and the seating right by the river is nice in the evening once it cools down a bit.

Been coming here most weekday mornings for the last couple of months: consistent espresso, wifi that doesn't drop, and enough outlets that I can actually get an hour of work done before meetings start. Gets loud after 10am once the breakfast crowd shows up, so if you need quiet, aim for opening.

Stopped here for lunch while hunting for a tailor near the Russian Market (my usual guy closed down). Food was solid while I asked around, and someone at the next table actually gave me a good recommendation. Decent spot to sit and people-watch in that neighbourhood either way.

First proper downpour of the season hit BKK1 this afternoon. Half the street was ankle-deep within twenty minutes, so I ducked in here to wait it out with a coffee. Good call: comfortable seating, quick wifi, and the humidity finally broke once the rain passed, first time in weeks it's felt comfortable past 6pm.
