TUBE Coffee Pochentong

If you want coffee in Toul Kork, Phnom Penh, TUBE Coffee Pochentong is an easy recommendation. It has settled into its spot over the years, and the room fills with a mix of first-timers working through a guide and locals on their usual table.

What to expect

Come for the coffee; there are cakes and simple snacks to go with it. Prices are reasonable for the area. The room is built for sitting a while, so it works as easily for a slow breakfast as for an afternoon with a laptop.

How it rates

Diners have left it a 4.5 average from 45 reviews, and the praise is consistent rather than a one-off spike. Ratings on their own do not tell you everything, but a score this steady over that many visits usually means you will get roughly what the last few hundred people got.

Where it sits

You are in Toul Kork here, so it is easy to fold a visit into a wander around that side of Phnom Penh. Phnom Penh is compact enough that you can pair this with a museum, a market or the riverfront in the same afternoon.

Getting there

Most visitors arrive by tuk-tuk or ride-hailing app. Use the map on this page rather than the street address, and allow a little extra time in the middle of the day when the heat slows everything down. If you are coming from the riverside or a central hotel it is a quick hop; from further out, factor in traffic at the start and end of the working day.

Planning a visit

Opening hours can shift, so it is worth checking before a long trip across town. Cambodian kitchens keep flexible hours around public holidays and quiet spells, so a quick call ahead is never wasted, especially for dinner. Handy to know about when you are in the Toul Kork part of town.
