Best Coffee Shops in Siem Reap: Specialty Coffee, Breakfast & Laptop Spots
The best coffee shops in Siem Reap for specialty coffee, breakfast, laptop work, air conditioning and slow afternoons in 2026.
Updated 20 Oct 2026
Siem Reap's coffee scene is much better than the old image of instant coffee near the temples. You now have local roasters, specialty espresso bars, laptop-friendly cafes, bakery cafes and places that work just as well for breakfast as they do for a flat white.
The Little Red Fox Espresso
One of the first places I would try if coffee quality matters. It works well for breakfast or a slow morning around central Siem Reap.
The Bean Embassy Roastery & Specialty Coffee
If you care about beans, roasting and espresso more than brunch aesthetics, The Bean Embassy is one of the strongest coffee-focused stops to compare.
Footprint Cafes
Footprint in Wat Bo is useful because it works as more than a quick caffeine stop. It is a comfortable place for breakfast, reading or a few hours of laptop work.
BROWN Coffee
BROWN is useful when you want consistency, air conditioning and a familiar Cambodian cafe setup.
Dahlia Café
Dahlia is a good option when you want a smaller, quieter cafe rather than a large all-day venue.
79K Slowbar & Specialty Coffee
Worth checking if you enjoy slow-bar brewing and a smaller specialty-coffee setting.
GROWN Coffee & Bakery
GROWN makes sense when pastries and breakfast matter as much as the coffee.
Temple Coffee n Bakery
Temple Coffee is useful when you want a larger cafe, bakery food and longer hours than many specialty shops.
Best for laptop work
For working, I would prioritize Footprint or BROWN because seating, air conditioning and longer stays matter more than chasing the most technical espresso.
Best before Angkor
For an early temple day, opening time matters more than cafe reputation. Check current hours the evening before, or arrange hotel breakfast if you are leaving for sunrise.
My practical take
The Little Red Fox or Bean Embassy for coffee quality, Footprint for a longer work session, and GROWN or Temple Coffee when food is part of the stop.
